Hi, I’m Alex from Manchester in the UK. I work in IT, was a business owner, and used to work 70-80 hours a week, skip meals, and order takeaways for a late 10pm dinner most days. I was sleep deprived and it showed. My weight peaked at 23 stone/146 Kg in August 2022, and my health and mood were suffering.
But one day, I decided enough was enough. I started exercising regularly, even though I was self-conscious about joining a gym. I began with little knowledge about fitness, but I was determined to learn quickly.
After 6 months of hard work and dedication, I’m now 10 Kg away from my target weight, and my bloods (such as cholesterol and hormone levels) have come back as ‘good’ or ‘optimal’. I look and feel better than ever before, and it’s all thanks to the changes I’ve made.
I started sharing my progress on social media to keep myself accountable, and I received lots of questions from people who were struggling with the same things I used to struggle with. So, I decided to share my knowledge and experience by starting a blog to help others who are looking to make similar changes in their lives.
It’s not easy, but it’s definitely doable. If I can do it, anyone can. I hope my journey will inspire and motivate others to make the changes they need to improve their health and wellbeing.
